What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a natural healthcare practice that releases serious stress from your body. This stress is referred to as a vertebral subluxation complex. A subluxation is a vertebrae which has lost its normal position and/or motion in relation to neighboring vertebrae. Vertebra which do not function properly wear and tear on the surrounding spinal muscles, ligaments, discs, joints and other spinal tissues. Pain, palpatory tenderness, inflammation, decreased spinal mobility, and muscle spasms will eventually follow.
Additionally, because of the direct mechanical and physiological relationship between the spinal column and spinal nerves, spinal abnormalities can impair proper nerve function. Once nerve function is compromised the overall health and wellness of the individual is jeopardized.

How to Maintain a Healthy Spine?Chiropractic manipulation has worked for nearly 100 years on more than 100 million people. Patients range from small infants to seniors in their late 90’s. Chiropractic is based on the principle that the nervous system influences a person’s overall health and that interference with the system impairs normal functions and lowers resistance to disease. This interference is caused by vertebral subluxations. A subluxation is defined as the misalignment of bones, resulting in nerve pressure or irritation.
